This is real leather so might be a bit ripe coming out of the package but the smell dissipates after a few days. Fairly easy to assemble (I did it solo). There’s a teeny tiny scratch in the leather, but nothing super noticeable 🙂 Doesn’t come with instructions, but the joints are connect-by-number, so once we figured that out it was smooth sailing!
